Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Residency Program Coordinator to join our team in the acute care setting. This role provides an opportunity to work with experienced nurse educators and leaders who will guide you through the program and support your professional development.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, documenting administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and notify providers and intervene as necessary
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating needs to resolve them proactively
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology for complete understanding
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed, but some travel may be required for training
