The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Antenna Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Communication Technologies and Engineering Division, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing RF systems and antennas for various space missions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide subject matter expertise in RF systems, antennas, and receive and transmit systems
- Solve technical problems in the areas of communications, signals collection, and remote sensing
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Work closely with junior and senior staff to develop and implement antenna and RF system solutions
- Support the development of software defined radio (SDR) communication systems and RF systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Five or more years of experience in Antenna/RF System design, analysis, and testing
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Proficiency with analysis tools such as ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, Feko, CST, and GRASP
- Experience working with RF hardware and test equipment
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience with ground stations
- Proficiency in scientific programming using languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, Python
- Experience leading small teams for projects related to antenna systems, radar systems, SIGINT processing, communication systems, and hardware prototyping
