About the Role

Squarespace is a design-driven platform empowering entrepreneurs to build brands and businesses online. We're seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our Activation team in the Growth organization. As a key member of our product team, you'll lead the vision and strategy for introducing our offerings to customers, simplifying the complex task of publishing a site and making a first sale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to OKRs, product strategy, vision, and roadmap by collaborating with PM and Engineering partners.
  • Define problems, identify insights, and measure solutions through deep collaboration with Research and Product Analytics.
  • Build high-fidelity prototypes and present to senior leadership.
  • Closely collaborate with other designers and Content Strategy on evolving solutions.
  • Contribute to thought leadership as a senior member of the design team, providing feedback, direction, and support.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with strong examples of shipping web and mobile web products.
  • Strong visual design skills and a discerning eye for world-class visual design craftsmanship.
  • Ability to drive 0 to 1 product initiatives, managing complexity and scope.
  • Able to build strong cross-functional partnerships and successful executive stakeholder management.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with a systems thinker's perspective.
  • Deep passion for our product and its impact on the world.
  • Optional: Experience with AI-related technologies.

Cash Compensation Range

$185,500 - $299,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria, including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
