About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team at Xometry, a leading provider of digital manufacturing solutions. As a Senior Account Executive, Strategic, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic relationships with our existing enterprise customers.

With a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success in the manufacturing space, you will be tasked with prospecting, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities for our clients. Your expertise in technical products and services, combined with your ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions, will enable you to drive results-driven sales strategies that exceed annual targets.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar roles in the United States, considering factors such as location, industry, and qualifications.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Sales of technical products and services to Fortune 500 customers
  • Strategic revenue growth of enterprise level customers
  • Initiating and building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management
  • Setting up sales calls for company executives and engineers with prospective clients
  • Qualify potential leads
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Ensure data accuracy within the company's CRM or other sales management system
  • Represent the company in the best light
  • Ability to propose winning solutions and negotiate contract terms
  • Participate in ongoing training and mentoring programs
  • Comply with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • 7+ years of sales experience in a closing role
  • 2+ years of experience selling technical products or services in the manufacturing space
  • 3+ years of experience selling into Fortune 500 companies
  • A demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • High proficiency with in-person and virtual presentations with customers
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
  • CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
  • Prospecting and sales planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills and results-driven
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
