GAINSCO is seeking a highly skilled Special Investigator to join our team. As a Special Investigator, you will play a critical role in preventing insurance fraud by conducting thorough investigations and analyzing complex data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct extensive public records reviews, interviews, and examinations under oath to gather evidence and build cases against insurance fraudsters.
  • Analyze data and identify patterns to anticipate and prevent potential fraud schemes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including adjusters and claims personnel, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop and deliver anti-fraud training to investigators and claims personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners to share intelligence and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as criminology, forensic science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in claims handling, insurance investigation, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
