Seeking a Dedicated Corrections Therapist to Provide Essential Mental Health Services

AB Staffing Solutions is searching for a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as a Corrections Therapist. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the well-being of individuals within the correctional system.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety plan development upon admission, followed by comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans within established timeframes.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish clear treatment goals and coordinate a range of therapeutic services tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, group session summaries, contact logs, and discharge reports, adhering to all regulatory standards and deadlines.
  • Proactively identify potential risks or crises and provide effective intervention and management strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. Candidates currently enrolled in a Doctorate program are also encouraged to apply.
  • Active and unrestricted LCSW or LMFT license in the state where services are provided.
  • Demonstrated experience providing individual, family, and/or group therapy to adults and/or adolescents.
  • Prior experience working with mental health, corrections, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment is highly valued.
