Job Overview

Next Step Property Management, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule of 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, throughout the year.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the aesthetic appeal and health of various properties by performing essential landscaping tasks. You will be assigned to approximately six locations daily, where you will engage in a variety of duties aimed at maintaining the landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the landscaping design and promote healthy plant growth.
  • Eliminate weeds and remove dead plants to enhance property appearance.
  • Trim overgrown branches, hedges, and foliage as necessary.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of landscaping equipment and pathways.
  • Provide recommendations to management for landscape improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience as a Grounds Maintenance Technician or in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
  • Familiarity with maintenance schedules for tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of basic lawn care practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good physical condition and stamina for outdoor work.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be insurable under company policies.
