Multifamily Maintenance Technician

The Multifamily Maintenance Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services to our residents. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare make-ready apartments by performing tasks such as painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
- Respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure they are clean, operational, and safe for residents.
- Perform maintenance tasks as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Report any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Attend and participate in training programs as required by Cushman and Wakefield.
- Perform all duties as assigned in a timely manner.
- Deliver superior customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Valid Driver's license, EPA 60- Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
- Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
This role operates in a professional office environment. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time.
They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery.
The employee must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration.
The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 100 pounds frequently, and/or up to 100 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
