Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist students and staff who visit the Health Sciences offices
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as creating spreadsheets, scanning and sorting documents
- Use office equipment such as copy machines, laminators, and document shredders
- Conduct basic facility inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Occasional cleaning of rooms to include wiping down dry-erase boards in classrooms, sanitizing desks/chairs
- Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Health Sciences Administrative Assistant
Qualifications- Currently enrolled Santa Fe College student, in good academic and behavioral standing, taking six (6) or more credit hours
- A criminal background check will be conducted
- Experience answering a multi-line phone system and communicating with customers
- Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment
- Ethics - able to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions
- Able to effectively handle confidential and proprietary information
- Communication - able to effectively communicate in a professional, diplomatic, empathetic, and tactful manner using preferred method and level as applicable to the job
- Systems & Software - proficient level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or relevant position software programs
