About the Role:
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown is a joint venture surgical hospital between Baylor Scott & White Health and United Surgical Partners International. The hospital provides a wide range of medical and surgical services for the greater North Texas area. We are seeking an Infection Control Practitioner/Employee Health Registered Nurse to oversee all infection control and prevention related activities within the organization. This individual will also be responsible for all functions of the employee health program and accountability to the quality department with audits.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all infection control and prevention related activities within the organization
- Responsible for all functions of the employee health program
- Accountability to the quality department with audits
Requirements:
- BSN required, Masters in related field highly desired
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a RN in acute care setting
- Employee Health and Infection Prevention experience preferred
- RN, current in the State of Texas
- BLS required
- CIC preferred or within 24 months of hire
