Job Summary:

UT Southwestern is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician, Licensed Commercial Applicator with 3A Category (Lawn & Ornamental) for our Landscape Services team.

This position works under general supervision to provide pest control services and extermination of rodents, insects, and other pests in and around UT Southwestern buildings and properties.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, mixing and spraying chemical solutions, and maintaining records of pesticides used.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, one year of work experience in pest control and/or extermination, and an active Commercial Applicator with 3A Category (Lawn & Ornamental) license.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in an indoor and outdoor environment, with exposure to disagreeable elements such as dust, dirt, heat, and cold conditions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, vocational school, or equivalent
  • One year of work experience in pest control and/or extermination
  • Active Commercial Applicator with 3A Category (Lawn & Ornamental) license
