Job Title: Structural Steel Project Manager

Job Summary:

Gpac is seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing structural steel projects from award to completion, ensuring timely delivery and staying within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines, working closely with purchasing, shop superintendents, detailers, vendors, subcontractors, shipping, and erectors to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Scope Verification: Review architectural and structural drawings to verify scope, check all details prior to release to the shop, and ensure erection plans are accurate.
  • Change Management: Create and follow through on all RFIs and Change Orders, working with estimating to ensure timely pricing and submission.
  • Communication: Attend project meetings and/or visit job sites as needed, keeping upper management informed of project progress and any issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of project management experience with a focus on structural steel fabrication.
  • Commercial project experience with schools, hospitals, and sports stadiums.
  • Proficiency in software such as Tekla PowerFab/Structures, Bluebeam, SDS/2, and Trimble Connect.
  • Familiarity with AISC certification.
