Motion Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Control Engineer to join our team at KLA. As a key member of our Global Products Group, you will be responsible for driving controller tuning and qualification for a precision, multi-axis stage on a highly-complex reticle inspection tool.
Key Responsibilities- Model and measure system dynamics to understand impact on stage performance.
- Define options to improve performance.
- Drive the design and qualification of tools/test hardware for debugging, analysis, and evaluation of stage performance.
- Apply knowledge in sensors, actuators, control algorithms, signal processing, and data analysis methods to assess and improve stage performance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and optical engineers to define plans for system-level testing and debugging.
- Generate documentation for design reviews and product release, including design specifications and procedures for testing and troubleshooting.
- Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 3 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree 6 years related work experience.
- Strong understanding of motion control systems, precision stage design, and reticle inspection tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
