Facilitating the shift towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for developing all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, seeking the brightest research scientists, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

The RAPID division is the leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor sector.

Job Responsibilities/Preferred Qualifications
Conduct controller tuning and qualification for a precision, multi-axis stage on a sophisticated reticle inspection tool.
Model and assess system dynamics to understand their impact on stage performance. Propose options for performance enhancement.
Lead the design and qualification of tools/test hardware for debugging, analysis, and evaluation of stage performance.
Utilize expertise in sensors, actuators, control algorithms, signal processing, and data analysis methods to evaluate and enhance stage performance.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and optical engineers, to outline plans for system-level testing and debugging.
Generate documentation for design reviews and product release, including design specifications and testing/troubleshooting procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience; Master's Level Degree with 6 years of relevant work experience.
