Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:


  • Overseeing all facets of tax compliance, including preparation, filing, and reporting for various entities and individuals.
  • Conducting comprehensive tax planning and forecasting to optimize financial performance and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Providing strategic tax advisory services, making informed recommendations based on detailed research and analysis.
  • Leading the preparation of both entity and individual tax returns.
  • Utilizing advanced software tools, including QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, and Thompson Reuters, to enhance tax processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure tax strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Staying informed about the latest tax regulations and ensuring compliance across the organization.
  • Offering training and support to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Consultant position will possess:


  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting.
  • Experience with at least three tax seasons in a CPA firm, preparing both entity and individual tax returns.
  • A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, and Thompson Reuters.
  • Extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, advisory, and preparation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of simplifying complex tax concepts.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to foresee potential challenges and develop effective solutions.
