Role Overview

This full-time Nurse Clinician Specialist position is based at our Iowa River Landing location and offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be part of a talented team of clinicians, researchers, and educators who are dedicated to advancing the field of endocrinology and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care and coordination for patients with diabetes, endocrine disorders, and weight management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage and support telephone triage, providing timely and accurate information to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of our clinical practices.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • Current license to practice nursing in Iowa.
  • Reasonable (1-3 years) nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory care.
  • Demonstrated expertise in endocrinology and diabetes care.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ambulatory care experience and telephone triage certification preferred.
Estimated Salary Range

$75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
