Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, providing personalized service to hotel guests.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members, ensuring seamless interactions and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Check-In/Check-Out: Greet arriving guests, complete established check-in procedures, and facilitate guest departures, ensuring accurate and efficient service.
  • Cash Handling: Regularly calculate and/or post monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit, utilizing proper cash handling methods and established procedures.
  • Reservations: Courteously answer inquiries and accept reservations, both in person and over the phone, utilizing our reservation guidelines.
  • Guest Relations: Maintain good guest relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions, answering questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses.
  • PBX Operations: Operate the PBX equipment, accepting incoming calls, assisting outgoing calls, setting wake-up calls, and communicating with guests to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Cash and Credit Transactions: Control cash and credit transactions at the front desk, maintaining complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel policy.
  • Mail and Messages: Process all guest mail, messages, and faxes, receiving, sorting, notifying, and distributing to mailboxes and to guests in a timely manner.
  • Department Communications: Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources, such as department and front desk log books, to enhance department communications and operations.
  • Team Support: Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
