Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Purpose:

The Customer Service Representative is a key member of the Food Allergy Institute team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department.
  • Schedule patient appointments and updates patient information as necessary.
  • Build and maintain outstanding customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Process tickets using a web-based system to escalate customer issues as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Spanish-speaking preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
