We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management at Texas Tech University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in kinesiology and exercise science, as well as contributing to the department's research and service missions.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in kinesiology and exercise science
  • Conduct research in kinesiology and exercise science, with a focus on motor behavior, motor control, or motor learning
  • Seek and apply for external research funding
  • Contribute to the department's service missions, including advising students and serving on departmental committees
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a closely related field
  • Experience teaching undergraduate courses in kinesiology or exercise science
  • Expertise in motor behavior, motor control, or motor learning, with a preference for research experience in these areas
  • Demonstrated ability to seek and apply for external research funding
