About the Role

As a key member of the CSL Plasma team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our plasma collection center. In the absence of the center manager, you will have ultimate responsibility for ensuring the smooth operation of the center, including production, quality compliance, finance, human resources, and information technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Quality
    • Ensure compliance with all company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Participate in collecting and analyzing data to maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Collaboration and Leadership
    • Collaborate with the center manager to assist with quality compliance by meeting company, regulatory, and customer requirements to safeguard the purity and efficacy of the plasma and the safety of donors and employees.
    • Work with quality personnel and the QA team to develop corrective action plans to address any areas of deficiency noted during audits.
  • Employee Management
    • Ensure the center and all employees comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and training, and complete all OSHA record keeping and reporting.
    • Employee recruitment, training, counseling, and termination, and corrective action programs. To achieve compliance, follow human resources policies by treating all employees fairly.
  • Marketing and Support
    • Support the center's marketing and advertising efforts.
  • Travel and Working Conditions
    • Overnight travel up to 10%.
    • You may spend 80% of the time standing/walking, and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
    • May spend 60% of the time auditing, improving, and observing ongoing operations through the center.
    • May work with hazardous chemicals, exposed to extreme temperatures, and to bloodborne pathogens.
    • You will need to wear personal protective equipment while performing specific tasks in certain areas.
Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience required.

Experience

Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience responsible for overseeing the activities of a team or others.
