About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Therapist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a Family Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing intensive treatment to families in need, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve lasting success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload of 4-5 families, providing intensive treatment and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each case, working closely with families to identify and address their unique needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of treatment progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Document all sessions and progress in a timely and accurate manner, using web-based documentation tools.
  • Maintain on-call availability to clients during the week, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Drive up to 60-80 miles to meet with families in their homes, providing treatment in a variety of settings and communities.
  • Work closely with clinical supervision and other team members to ensure the highest quality of care and support for families.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • At least one year of experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
