About the Role:

Fusco Personnel Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of New York State's EPA Solar for All grant. This is a full-time direct hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the work of sub-grantees, consultants, and contractors, including writing statements of work, issuing contracts, budgeting, and invoicing.
  • Develop and manage workplans and budgets, including periodic review and amendment based on program performance.
  • Manage the design and adjustment of programs serving disadvantaged communities, based on technical knowledge, market feedback, and EPA-SFA grant requirements.
  • Ensure close communication with EPA staff, NYSERDA team members, and partner agencies to ensure accountability to contractual commitments, timely and accurate grant reporting, and other deliverables.
  • Make presentations to internal and external stakeholders, manage feedback and questions, and support stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the NY-Sun initiative and other NYSERDA programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workplans, budgets, and timelines, experience with federal grant requirements preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage consultants and contractors, ensuring accountability for work product quality and the timely completion of deliverables.
  • Strong professional writing skills, particularly for reports, presentations, options memos, and similar work products.
  • Familiarity with relevant energy technologies and policies, expertise in these subjects preferred.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and function well independently and in teams.
  • Strong communication skills; excellent strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and resolute integrity.
  • Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and six years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
