Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Solar Energy Initiative

Fusco Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Solar for All program in New York State. This is a full-time direct hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the implementation of the New York State EPA Solar for All grant, ensuring successful project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage a team of sub-grantees, consultants, and contractors, including budgeting, invoicing, and workplan development.
  • Develop and oversee the budget, ensuring timely and accurate grant reporting and compliance with EPA-SFA grant requirements.
  • Collaborate with EPA staff, NYSERDA team members, and partner agencies to ensure accountability and stakeholder engagement.
  • Make presentations to internal and external stakeholders, manage feedback, and support stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the NY-Sun initiative and other NYSERDA programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workplans, budgets, and timelines, with experience with federal grant requirements preferred.
  • Strong professional writing skills, particularly for reports, presentations, and similar work products.
  • Familiarity with relevant energy technologies and policies, with expertise in these subjects preferred.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and function well independently and in teams.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and resolute integrity.
  • Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree and six years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
