Principal Service Engineer IS

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Service Engineer to act as service owner for our highly secure, Cybersecurity Maturity Model (CMMC) 2.0 compliant hosting environment. This role requires someone with experience managing vendor relationships, presenting to senior IS and business leadership, coordinating across organizations, and a technical background in security, cloud, and network services.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with enterprise security and infrastructure teams to ensure Providence operational and architecture standards are followed for all new and existing deployments.
- Monitor the hosting partner's performance against SLAs and conduct monthly business reviews to ensure they are satisfying all service expectations.
- Design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS, and clinical caregivers.
- Work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers to translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations.
- Leverage data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
- 8 years of related experience; more preferred.
- Strong experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
- Strong experience with n-tier solutions.
- Strong experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience in a Healthcare environment.
