Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Labor and Machine Hours by product, site, and cost center.
  • Review product costing to identify costing errors and perform root cause analysis.
  • Analyze cost variance and compare actual to system standards for both material and labor.
  • Review, analyze, and report actual job profit margins.
  • Validate accuracy of inventory balances at the item and transaction level.
  • Perform inventory subledger to GL reconciliation and roll-forward by site.
  • Provide product costing for pricing and business decisions.
  • Develop cost budgets in collaboration with site leaders.
  • Conduct weekly job/work-ticket/WIP profitability reviews and reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with demonstrated capability in cost analysis and 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to partner with site leadership and engage people from all levels to increase cost awareness.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
