Leadless Clinical Specialist Job Summary

This role requires a Leadless Clinical Specialist to provide procedural, technical, clinical, educational and sales leadership for safe adoption and growth of Abbott's leadless technology.

The ideal candidate will work with internal and external customers to drive therapy adoption and procedural success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary case support for initial leadless implants using best-practices, clinical data and technical product expertise.
  • Partner with local sales teams to ensure safe expansion of leadless therapy and transfer technical expertise.
  • Support national physician training programs with hands-on training and facilitating the physician training experience.
  • Develop trusting relationships with physician implanters based on technical and clinical acumen.
  • Oversee local education and training activities, including simulated procedures, troubleshooting and instruction.
  • Assist in certifying local Abbott personnel and training them on field-based simulators.
  • Partner with Leadless Professional Development peers to achieve common leadless therapy goals.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including case tracking and monitoring physician progress.
  • Provide feedback to improve future customer experiences.
  • Utilize business best practices to ensure success and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years clinical medical device experience or equivalent, ideally with CRM products.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
  • Comfort navigating the medical environment, including labs and hospital settings.
  • Proven success leading and influencing customers, with high-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office and personal computer programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional training/education certification or designation.
  • Previous sales experience and/or demonstrated business acumen.
Compensation:

$83,000.00 – $166,000.00 per year.
