About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at OptumCare. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a culture that values teamwork and collaboration.
  • Position patients correctly for radiographic and fluoroscopic exams.
  • Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic exams and special procedures.
  • Provide accurate and complete exam and image documentation.
  • Ensure radiation protection for patients and staff.
  • Report equipment failures and maintenance issues.
  • Prepare contrast media and assist with administering medications.
  • Perform duties related to film and PACS media libraries.
  • Assist with scheduling and processing patients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Valid license issued by the State of Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a radiology department.
  • Thorough knowledge of human anatomy, radiation exposures, and positioning.
