We are seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to join our team at Region V Services. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing training and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and/or community locations.

Job Summary

The Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a meaningful day for individuals by providing systematic training and customized supports based on their individual needs and desired outcomes. This includes attending and participating in team meetings, working with the individual, their family, and other team members to identify desired outcomes, and developing training programs that meet regulatory requirements.

In addition, the Support Specialist will serve as a positive role model and trainer for the individual, utilizing teachable moments to enhance personal growth and ensure individual progress. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals with special needs, including personal hygiene/care.

Benefits

As a Support Specialist at Region V Services, you can expect a competitive salary of $15.15-$16.24 per hour, plus a generous benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, paid sick leave, paid vacation leave, tuition assistance, and retirement benefits.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 18 years of age. Preferably, candidates should have one year of experience in the field of human services. A valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation are also required.
