Job Summary:

The Middlesex Corporation is a leading heavy civil construction company seeking a skilled Pipe Foreman to join our team. As a Pipe Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and construction of pipes and related infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including reporting incidents and near misses.
  • Organize and plan work with the Superintendent to achieve project goals.
  • Directly oversee labor and equipment time sheets, as well as daily reports.
  • Monitor and maintain pipe crew productivity and goals.
  • Enforce quality control and safety policies on all aspects of the work.
  • Follow project construction processes to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Tool Box Talks with the crew.
  • Provide job hazard analysis prior to new work activities.
  • Develop material handling plans with the Superintendent.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of setting and calculating grades, and ability to use pipe lasers.
  • Experience with digging with trench boxes and other earth support systems in a safe manner.
  • Valid driving license.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Subpart P certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a foreman supervising and installing drainage, water, and sewer lines.
