Role Overview

Oxford Knight is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the production engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex trading and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and automated trading systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain a robust pre-release automated testing process
  • Identify and fix issues that prevent trading or deployment of new code

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 2+ years' hands-on experience with Python programming, plus proficiency in one or more scripting languages and some C++
  • Strong debugging, design, and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of Unix-based operating systems
  • Strong track record of owning and driving forward mission-critical systems
  • Ability to manage priorities and switch between multiple projects
