About the Role

Quest Partners LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Developer to support our equity portfolio. As a key member of our research team, you will work closely with other researchers and developers to design predictive signals and enhance our models and algorithms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets and a passion for data analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Convert mathematical models into efficient, high-performance code.
  • Develop quantitative models to predict market movements and identify trading opportunities.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract insights and inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve existing research and trading infrastructure.
  • Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in quantitative finance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience as a quantitative developer supporting equity research.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner.
