General Summary of Duties:

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing personnel management. This role includes leading, coaching, and providing direction and support to staff. The Supervisor is expected to be visible, accessible, and actively engaged in assisting nursing staff on a daily basis.

Key Duties Include:
  • Quality Assurance: Actively participate in quality assurance and performance improvement projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to infection control policies and procedures consistently.
  • Policy Compliance: Model adherence to hospital policies and procedures for nursing staff.
  • Regulatory Participation: Engage in the development and implementation of hospital regulatory compliance measures.
