About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Cloud Content Specialist to create engaging digital courses for exam preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, adult learning principles, and experience developing IT or technical training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality content for AWS certification exams
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
- Create instructor-led materials, online/e-learning modules, job aids, and other training materials
- Present content live on-camera or in a studio setting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials
- Domain expertise in one or more of the following: Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Contact Centers, End User Computing, Game Tech, Security, IoT, Media, General Cloud Technology, Solutions Architecting, Application Development, DevOps, Databases, and/or System Operations
- Knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
- Scripting and coding skills in languages like Java, Python, NodeJS, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Bash
