This position works out of our Liberty, SC location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing electronic assembly functions: assembling, welding, soldering and x-raying medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools

• Locating and correcting problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts; repairing and testing units using computerized test equipment

• Performing casting/coating functions: examining medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy

• Utilizing small drills, reamers, taps and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxy; patching and repairing bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; baking parts to cure epoxy patches

• Performing mechanical assembly functions: kitting, assembling, bonding, coating and processing medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools

• Locating and correcting problems by examining devices and components and visually inspecting parts/assemblies; repairing and correcting devices and related components using microscopes and applicable tools

The base pay for this position is $15.50-$27.00 per hour, depending on location. We require a High School Diploma/GED and prefer electronic assembly experience. Good hand-eye skills and mechanical aptitude are essential. Basic computer skills knowledge is required, as well as working knowledge of GMP and ISO Standards.
