We are looking for a talented Broadcast Director to lead our daily newscasts and local programs. This role involves directing live and recorded shows using production automation and manual switching operations. The successful candidate will work closely with our news, production, and technical teams to produce engaging and comprehensive content.

The ideal candidate should bring forward-thinking ideas, strong technical knowledge, and excellent quality control skills. They must also be familiar with studio operations, including floor directing, camera operation, teleprompter, graphics creation, audio, lighting, non-linear editing, content management systems, and master control systems.

This position includes directing daily newscasts and on-air programming, overseeing the overall look of newscasts, identifying potential problems before they hit air, troubleshooting technical systems when required, and creating programming, commercials, and digital content using non-linear editing and content management systems.

Responsibilities:
* Direct daily live newscasts and recorded shows using production automation and manual switching operations.
* Oversee the overall look of newscasts and on-air programming.
* Identify and correct potential problems before they hit air.
* Troubleshoot technical systems when required.
* Create programming, commercials, and digital content using non-linear editing and content management systems.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Communications or TV Production or related degree preferred;
* 1-3 years' experience with production automation, video switchers, newsroom computer systems, video servers, and graphics systems;
* Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively for breaking news and unexpected events;
* Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on working as a team with multiple departments;
* Experience with ENPS, Chyron, and BitCentral systems is a plus;

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year; salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
