Job Title: Child Care/Youth Program Attendants

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Child Care/Youth Program Attendants. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years.

Job Summary:

As a Child Care/Youth Program Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of various activities, including games, sports, crafts, and other age-appropriate programs. You will also be responsible for supervising and participating with groups in both indoor and outdoor activities, setting up and cleaning up, and providing a safe and friendly environment for members' children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing activities for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years
  • Supervise and participate with groups in both indoor and outdoor activities
  • Set up and clean up after activities
  • Provide a safe and friendly environment for members' children
  • Assist with daily attendance, being punctual, teamwork, and individual responsibility
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have babysitting experience or be enrolled in Early Childhood Development class in High School or College course
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts a week and two weekends per month
Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 8:00AM to 7:30PM (program hours vary)

Saturday: 9:00AM-1:00PM, 4:30-7:30PM (both needed)

Examples of Lead/Coordinator shifts:

  • No School Days: 8:00AM-5:00PM with a 1 hour lunch break (weekdays)
  • Youth Programs: 4:00PM-7:30PM (Saturday evenings), 2:15PM-6:00PM (weekdays)
