Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of integrations architects and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Serve as the API and integration champion at Coastal to help teams across the organization identify integration opportunities and define the process to translate those business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee the integration of third-party tools and services into our integration ecosystem.
  • Design, implement, and enhance scalable APIs and integrations to support data availability, feature reuse, and innovative solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and trends in API management, enterprise integration, and distributed systems.

Requirements:

  • Eight years' experience in a systems development/software engineering role, with at least four years' experience of managing people.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and related services.
  • Designing and delivering scalable API-based integrated solutions.
  • Integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Jitterbit.
  • Integration methods, architecture, communication protocols, networking, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with Jack Henry core banking systems or similar core banking platforms, including experience with core system integrations and customization.
