Job Title: EVSE Software Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EVSE Software Project Manager to join our team at Zero Impact Solutions. As a senior-level role, this position will be responsible for leading and managing multiple software development projects, ensuring successful project execution, and serving as a technical liaison for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple software development projects, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Act as a Product Manager for in-house software products, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in the .NET ecosystem, cross-platform development, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with EV Charging protocols, such as OCPP, OCPP-J, and ISO15118.
  • Experience in developing applications for the transportation or energy industry using OCPP.
  • Serve as a technical liaison for customers, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Lead the modernization journey, including upgrading legacy software components.
  • Certifications in SAFe (SAFe Agilist, SAFe Program Consultant) or Agile (Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile methodologies.
  • Minimum of 8+ years in software development and project management, with at least 3+ years in a senior role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in .Net (MVC and Core), Microservices, Middleware, API, JavaScript, and web development.
  • Hands-on Azure experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Project, or Atlassian Jira or Confluence or similar.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
