About the Role

We are seeking a self-driven, conscientious, and fiscally responsible software engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, eternally curious, and passionate about problem-solving.

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing new software applications, maintaining and enhancing various software products and solutions. They will assist in the successful execution of projects with minimal direction and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new software applications
  • Maintain and enhance existing software products and solutions
  • Assist in the successful execution of projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure expected performance and reliability of applications and systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience in business process automation applications
  • Experience with .Net, C#, Windows tools, and languages, as well as modern web frameworks (Angular via Typescript, React, Vue)
  • Understanding of data repository models, SQL, and NoSQL
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, Domain Driven Design, Test/Behavior Driven Design, Event Driven via Asynchronous messaging approaches, microservice architecture
Preferred Experience
  • ASP.NET, WCF, Web Services, NServiceBus, Azure Cloud, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • DevOps experience as a full stack developer owning the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Strong understanding and experience writing unit and integration tests for all code produced

Compensation

The starting salary range for this full-time position in Irvine, CA is $144,700 - $180,900 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals.
