Job Overview
The primary goal of the F&B Supervisor is to assist food and beverage management in overseeing and supervising designated areas within the F&B Department.

Key responsibilities include providing training, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring that service delivery and food and beverage offerings are executed in a timely manner, adhering to company and health department standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the F&B Managers in daily operations and execution of food and beverage functions and outlet operations.
  • Effectively support associate development, train, mentor, and supervise staff during food and beverage service, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism towards all guests, associates, and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Engage consistently with clients and associates to guarantee a memorable guest experience.
  • Adhere to all liquor liability laws and enforce TABC, Department of Health, and food handler guidelines.
  • Attend all designated training sessions and meetings.
  • Act as host/server/server assistant/food runner as required.
  • Address guest comments and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage associate disputes and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Stay present on the floor during peak hours.
  • Assist in the overall supervision of the department as outlined in the manager's job description.
  • Observe, teach, and correct staff service practices.
  • Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.
  • Maintain the condition of outlets and assigned areas.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager or Director of Food & Beverage.
Qualifications
  • Related F&B degree or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage Supervision or Management preferred.
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
  • Understanding of Food and Beverage financials, including cost and par controls, is preferred.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with liquor liability laws.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and accident prevention.
  • TABC and Food Handlers Certification required.
