Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Services Supervisor to join our team at Ryan Specialty. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Houston Gessner office, including supervising administrative staff, coordinating projects, and ensuring the smooth running of office activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all non-production operations at the Houston Gessner office
  • Supervise, manage, and direct the work of administrative staff, including timekeeping, time card approval, hiring, and addressing work performance
  • Participate in office management teams to make decisions on matters affecting the office and employees
  • Be a resource for the office on company policies and procedures, educating employees on policies and helping them achieve alignment
  • Complete monthly expense reports for the Office President through Workday
  • Complete HR Manager Pre-Onboarding New Hire and Termination Checklists
  • Maintain the office calendar, including employee birthdays and sending greetings
  • Responsible for office security access system, maintaining security cards, and providing for the safety and security of employees and property
  • Order business cards, envelopes, and stationery
  • Coordinate and schedule office events and parties
  • Work with the Property Manager to reconcile monthly statements and assign parking spaces
  • Sponsorships: gather information, approvals, and submit spreadsheets for budget tracking
  • Budget: manage costs of giveaways, carrier and holiday events, IT expenses, charity/sponsorship events, and season tickets
  • Work directly with the Office Presidents to handle and coordinate assignments and projects
  • Work with team members on numerous requests and with the newly appointed Social Committee on events

The target salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - $81,375.00 annually, and full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
