Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Installation Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of complex integrated security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure access control systems, including card readers, door controllers, and software.
  • Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, recorders, and monitors.
  • Install and configure alarm systems, including sensors, panels, and software.
  • Perform system checks to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation and configuration.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their security needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical school program preferred.
  • A+ certification required; industry-recognized certifications in access control, CCTV, and alarm systems a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized training or certification in access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Experience with IP addressable security devices and advanced TCP/IP networking skills.
  • Proficiency with ADT A.I. core card access and CCTV systems.
