Job Summary

Mental Health Partners is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our volunteer hotline and provide on-going victim advocacy and case management to survivors of sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule coverage of the 24-hour hotline
  • Recruit, train, and provide supervision to hotline volunteers
  • Manage the 40-hour hotline training program and coordinate schedules with staff, guest presenters, and volunteers as needed
  • Determine appropriate level of skills needed to fulfill identified volunteer positions within the organization
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of the hotline program, including orientation, training, scheduling, and ongoing guidance
  • Seek opportunities, plan, and participate in activities to recruit volunteers
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and supervision to volunteers
  • Plan and coordinate volunteer appreciation events within allocated budget
  • Track hotline and volunteer statistics for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Provide outreach, case management, support services, and legal advocacy to sexual assault survivors and their significant others
  • Maintain a caseload of clients requiring short-term case management
  • Maintain face-to-face, phone, and email contact with clients to facilitate progress toward recovery through resource development
  • Attend multi-agency case consultations and facilitate referrals to other organizations
  • Provide training to agencies in the community on Mental Health Partners' services
  • Support and provide training for Mental Health Partners' Prevention Education Program
  • Meet defined individual and department goals, activity metrics, and Key Performance Indicators
  • Promote, support, and demonstrate through both behavior and job performance adherence to policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis
  • Effectively interact and communicate with other Mental Health Partners staff, clients, customers, partners, etc.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform other essential functions of the job
Supervisory Duties
  • Supervise or oversee a program
  • Provide supervision to staff and volunteers on a routine and frequent basis, specifically through the lens of a recovery orientation, to ensure high-quality, effective, and efficient services as well as accurate and timely documentation
  • Demonstrate awareness, support, and appreciation for cultural and diversity issues
  • Motivate and value staff around performance excellence, professional development, and participation in important Mental Health Partners meetings and committees
  • May be responsible for recommending and managing program budget; responsible for cost-effective utilization of Mental Health Partners' resources
  • Establish and clarify expectations, provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and administer the annual performance review process with employees
  • Manage performance concerns as applicable under the direction of the program director
  • Regularly assess staff and volunteers and provide appropriate training to assure solid job performance
  • Identify training needs and provide/arrange training on relevant topics necessary to an effective and efficient functioning of the team
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work required
  • Three (3+) years' experience supervising and training volunteers
  • Previous experience in sexual assault treatment
