About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Lexington, Massachusetts.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for providing medication management services to patients, ensuring safe and effective utilization of medications tailored to specific medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medication management through evaluation of medications for patients to ensure safe, effective utilization.
  • Work with patients, providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide access to specialty medications and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, training staff, and cross-training for other roles to provide periodic support as directed.
  • Document safety events, patient counseling, and therapeutic interventions based on patient and medication therapy evaluation.
  • Facilitate medication access by assisting with prior authorizations, drug therapy appeals, financial assistance, and other Patient Care Coordinator activities.
Requirements
  • PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • 2 years of experience managing patients' specialty medication needs or clinical pharmacist hospital practice experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to manage time and people effectively.
  • Current State pharmacy license, preferred certifications include CSP, BCOP, BCPS or similar.
