Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant. This full-time position involves managing a caseload of 7-8 students aged 18-26 with severe cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students with severe cognitive impairments
  • Develop and implement tailored educational programs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to enhance student outcomes
  • Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed

Requirements:

  • Valid Michigan Special Education Certification
  • Experience working with students with severe cognitive impairments preferred
  • Strong ability to create a supportive and structured learning environment

Compensation and Benefits:
