Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Art Therapy. mandatory
  • Two years of experience working directly with children and families. Preferred experience includes working with children who have experienced physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and are emotionally disturbed Preferred

Work Schedule:

  • Must be available to complete a two-week orientation program (Monday - Friday); hours are typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to engage in significant walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical screenings, including: Drug Screen, Physical, and TB Test
