Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at PeaceHealth. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for childbirth.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Three years of Labor and Delivery or postpartum acute care nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Specialty certification in perinatal nursing.
  • Bilingual Spanish language proficiency.
