Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to women before, during, and after delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care.
  • Monitor vital signs and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum 18 months of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights.
