Are you a dedicated healthcare professional seeking a challenging role in patient care? Our client, a leading provider of diagnostic information services, is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative II to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Interaction: Build strong relationships with patients, creating a comfortable and trusting environment.
- Specimen Collection: Draw blood samples efficiently and safely, following established procedures.
- Data Entry: Accurately record patient information and specimen details.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity of collected samples and adherence to quality standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Training: Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
