Job Description:

As a compassionate and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across a wide range of procedures. Your responsibilities will include administering anesthesia and closely monitoring patients during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans, administering appropriate types and dosages of anesthesia medications to ensure patient comfort and safety, monitoring vital signs, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed, and responding promptly to any complications or emergencies, and providing post-anesthesia care and ensuring patients' smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery.


CRNA Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
• Administering anesthesia and closely monitoring patients during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administering appropriate types and dosages of anesthesia medications to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Monitoring vital signs, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed, and responding promptly to any complications or emergencies.
• Providing post-anesthesia care and ensuring patients' smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery.

CRNA Qualifications:

Requirements:
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist License.
• Licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing or Compact Licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification.
• CALS certification is preferred.
• Experience in providing anesthesia services in a hospital or surgical center setting is preferred.
